So much to look forward to in 2020. Bring it on !!!
I was “quiet” with my updates throughout 2019 but it was a great year for me personally, with the birth of 2 beautiful granddaughters and a family wedding. I had a lot to fit in the year with racing and my faithful owners did a brilliant job with updates on this site,
All in all I think we had an OK year racing. Unlucky on many occasions and I felt our tally of actual winners should have been much higher, but that’s racing and no one remembers the 2nd placed horse !! !
Moving on with excited anticipation, I have decided to re launch my old Christine Dunnett Racing Club with some exciting new prospects and a Club which offers great value for money and close involvement, being limited to 20 shares, giving members a greater opportunity to be more involved.
This club initially has up to 5 horses to run for it, please email for full details. The cost for the first 6 months (to end of June 2020) would be a little as £250 if a share is split between 4 people. This represents tremendous value with racing opportunities with 5 horses, plus a share of any net prize money, regular yard visits, opportunity to name a horse & fun social events. A separate “Club” page with members only access will be set up on this site to keep up to date.
We are having a yard meeting on the 18th January at 10am to answer any final questions and start the ball rolling so if interested please contact me. Refreshments available.
We are also pleased to say we can now offer holidays/short breaks on site through our delightful holiday cottage “The Granary” see link to Hingham Leisure contact me direct as there are special rates for owners. This is a great opportunity to see the day to day running of the yard and training of the horses, also during the foaling season you can have the opportunity see an actual foaling, if you are lucky !
