Tuesday delight at the seaside.

The day saw Percy Toplis deliver what is becoming his trademark late challenge to move from the back of the field to a closing 3rd and going down by a head and a short head to complete another exciting trip to the seaside.

Eoin Walsh was very happy with Percy reporting that it took a bit of effort to get Percy racing but from 3F out both horse and jockey connected to make their serious effort for the line.

Christine is looking to step Percy up to a mile and a half for his next run.

Forgotten Girl made her racecourse debut and was one of two newcomers in a 6F maiden race. Breaking slowly she was encouraged into the race by Adrian McCarthy and without getting serious made a pleasing appearance.

Running very green as would be expected, she behaved well and showed a nice attitude.

A long awaited win for the stable saw Queen of Burgundy land the prize at Yarmouth on Tuesday evening.

Queen of Burgundy (QB) broke well from the stalls and Silvester De Sousa, looking to make it a hat trick on the night, quickly went a length clear of the rest.

With 2f to go Masked Identity became the danger ranging up to join her in the lead but Silvester wasn’t to be denied and QB won by a short head.

Agent of Fortune went off 3-1 favourite under Sylvester De Sousa in the last race of the day. Held up towards the rear SDS switched the Agent left with 3f to go and under a strong ride move her up to lead with 100yds to run.

Unable to hold the position she did fall away to finish 6th but only 3 lengths from a win as performances continue to improve.

A fine day for all with pride of place going to her majesty QB !!!!!!!!
